Edit a contact to give it a quick nickname (up to 12 characters), such as AJ. It becomes a one-tap recipient button in the email composer; clear the nickname to remove it. You can also click a nickname pill below to change it. Checking quick (marked below with a lightning bolt) additionally puts the nickname on every note of the main page as a one-tap send button: it emails the note's cleaned-up text (waiting briefly for cleanup when it is still running) with an auto-generated subject, no composer involved.
